Internal medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Internal Medicine physician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to adult patients, emphasizing diagnosis, management, and prevention of a wide range of diseases and conditions.

The role involves conducting detailed patient evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Internal Medicine physician will also educate patients on health maintenance and wellness strategies.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough histories and physical examinations of adult patients
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop personalized care plans with an emphasis on prevention and wellness
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals as needed
• Maintain precise and timely documentation of patient care
• Stay current with advances in internal medicine through continuing education
• Participate in community health initiatives and patient education programs
  
  

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine
• Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the applicable state
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine preferred
• Strong diagnostic and clinical management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and healthcare teams
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education and professional development
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
