About The Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Learning and Development Interns to join Jumeirah Hotels in Dubai.

The Main Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Include

  • Support the coordination and delivery of training programs including the Welcome Program, bespoke trainings, FLASH briefings, and departmental cross-training to ensure colleagues are equipped with the right skills.
  • Support the L&D Manager in achieving training targets by tracking and reporting on NPS scores, training hours, and departmental progress, while maintaining the L&D library and resources.
  • Help to oversee learning systems and administrative processes including the Learning Management System, Talent Management System, training calendars, CAPEX/purchase requisitions, and training room setup.
  • Ensure training quality and consistency by observing departmental trainers, conducting spot checks, and delivering guidance to maintain high standards across the resort.
  • Liaise with different departments, communicating training initiatives, representing the L&D team at meetings, and supporting HR tasks as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement and special projects by assisting with departmental projects, updating notice boards/plasma screens, and assisting with other reasonable duties assigned by management.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a university or a recent graduate of a relevant university degree
  • Fluent in English
  • Train the Trainer, or equivalent
  • Competent and experienced in the delivery of front-line level colleague courses
  • At least intermediate level of Microsoft Office applications
