A Day in the Life of an Application Group Intern

New Product Development (NPD)

• Support recipe development in line with approved project briefs
• Assist during factory trials, process validation, and related documentation
• Help prepare product specifications, process flows, and Manufacturing Dossiers
• Support shelf‑life studies, pHACCP, pQMS activities, and product specification validation
• Assist with SAP-related activities, including material codes and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  
  

• Support process optimisation and line performance improvement initiatives
• Participate in cost optimisation and process efficiency projects
• Support product launches, start‑ups, and post‑launch performance reviews
  
  

• Participate in shop‑floor learning and continuous improvement activities
• Support training sessions and best‑practice sharing initiatives within the factory
  
  

• A strong interest in nutrition, product development, and food manufacturing
• Willingness to learn and work hands‑on in a factory environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  
  

• Bachelors/ Masters degree in Chemical Engineering- preferred recent graduated
• Candidates must hold a valid UAE residence visa under their own sponsorship
• Candidates must have valid medical insurance
• A driving licence or a reliable means of transportation is preferred, as the factories are located in Jebel Ali / Dubai South, where public transport connectivity is limited
  
  

• Practical exposure to end‑to‑end dairy product development
• Hands‑on experience in a manufacturing and factory environment
• Strong understanding of Nestlé Quality, Food Safety, and NPD processes
