Job Opportunity for Interior Designer / Interior Architect with BIM Capabilities
Position Summary:
As an Interior Designer at Archcorp, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing interior design projects of varying scales and complexities. Your expertise in interior design and proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software will be instrumental in delivering top-notch design solutions that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Lead and oversee interior design projects from concept development to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Design Development: Create and refine design concepts, mood boards, and space planning that align with client objectives and project requirements.
BIM Expertise: Utilize BIM software (such as Autodesk Revit) to develop detailed 3D models, construction drawings, and documentation for all phases of a project.
Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, and contractors to coordinate design efforts and resolve design-related issues.
Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, present design proposals, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
Material and Finish Selection: Research and specify materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures that meet design criteria, aesthetic goals, and budget constraints.
Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of design quality, accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations and codes.
Project Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detail Design and Construction Documents.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and contribute to the professional growth of the design team.
Liaison with local authorities and attend to necessary technical meetings with authorities.
Coordination with other disciplines and external team members (suppliers / sub-consultants).
Works closely with relevant external parties and clients to ensure timely delivery according to plan.
Support the BIM activities by participating with the development and implementation of the digital roadmap.
Develop and enforce BIM documentation and workflow process standards and automate routines in BIM to support standards, quality and productivity.
Travelling to sites to complete physical inspections and site surveys.
Qualifications & General Expectations:
Bachelors degree in Interior Design or related field.
Strong planning and organization skills
High levels of creativity, imagination and vision
Design thinker, Imaginative and creative thinker
Decision maker and a negotiator
Minimum of 10 years of professional interior design experience.
Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit).
Proficiency in 3D Modeling and Rendering Engine (ex- 3DS Max, V Ray, D5, Corona etc.)
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of completed interior design projects.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Knowledge of industry trends, materials, and sustainable design practices.
Pro-active approach in identifying a potential problem and providing its solution.
Interface quality with the technical & technology teams
