Interior Designer (225-911)

As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for transforming client visions into beautifully designed, functional spaces. Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their design needs and preferences accurately.
• Develop comprehensive design concepts, layouts, and elevations for various projects.
• Create detailed and accurate design plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Prepare and present design proposals, including timelines, to clients for approval.
• Source and select materials, furnishings, and decorative items for projects.
• Collaborate effectively with architects and builders to ensure seamless integration of designs.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring all work is completed on schedule.
• Visit project sites during execution to check on work progress and make adjustments as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, techniques, and materials in the industry.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of design materials.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and standards in designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in interior design.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects and creative abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all design aspects.
