Responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations to determine design preferences, lifestyle needs, and budgets.
• Develop comprehensive design plans incorporating both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
• Collaborate with architects, builders, and other contractors to ensure project success.
• Create detailed drawings, plans, and 3D models to demonstrate design concepts.
• Select appropriate materials, furnishings, and color palettes that align with design vision.
• Manage project timelines, ensuring all phases meet the required deadlines and budget constraints.
• Sourcing and procuring design materials and furnishings suitable for each project.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in interior design and architecture.
• Coordinate installation schedules and oversee implementation of the design plan.
• Address any design-related issues that arise during the construction or installation phase.
• Present design ideas and progress updates to clients and incorporate feedback as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required.
• At least three years of professional experience in interior design projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is essential.
• Strong knowledge of architecture, color theory, and space planning principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Creativity and problem-solving abilities to deliver innovative design solutions.
