Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to determine their unique design preferences and requirements.
• Develop detailed design plans using CAD software for precision and accuracy.
• Source and select furniture, fabrics, lighting, and materials that fit client budgets.
• Create mood boards and presentations to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely project execution.
• Conduct on-site visits to ensure design specifications are being accurately implemented.
• Stay updated with current design trends and incorporate them into projects.
• Work within project budgets and timelines to ensure client satisfaction.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on interior layouts and space utilization.
• Prepare and oversee project documents, contracts, and client reports.
• Maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to convey design ideas effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience in interior design or similar role.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in various design styles and projects.
• Excellent communication and project management skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently on complex projects.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and ADA requirements is preferred.
