WSP is seeking an experienced Interior Design Inspector with 5+ years of experience in construction supervision to join our UAE project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting interior fit-out and finishing works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. Experience in hospitality, residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of interior finishes, joinery, FF&E, site inspections, and contractor coordination is essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect interior fit-out and finishing works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. 
• Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship, materials, and installation quality. 
• Review material submissions, mock-ups, and shop drawings. 
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve site issues. 
• Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitor progress and maintain inspection records and reports. 
• Assist with snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover activities. 
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, QA/QC procedures, and UAE authority requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related field. 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in interior design supervision, fit-out, or construction projects. 
• UAE experience within a consultancy or supervision environment preferred. 
• Strong knowledge of interior finishes, joinery, FF&E, and fit-out works. 
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and construction drawings.
