Based out of the Brisbane office, your first assignment will be the Logan & Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGCFR) Project, a city shaping rail upgrade currently in detailed design and moving steadily toward construction. Commenced in 2024 and running for approximately 5 years, the project will expand the rail corridor between Kuraby and Beenleigh from 2 to 4 tracks, upgrade stations, remove level crossings and future proof the network for ETCS Level 2 signalling.

About The Role
As the Interface Manager, Engineering, you’ll sit at the centre of one of Queensland’s most complex rail programs, making sure all the moving parts across design, systems, construction and supply chain come together cleanly and safely.
You’ll be the single point of accountability for interface management on the Logan & Gold Coast Faster Rail project, acting as 2IC to the Integration Manager and working across the full project lifecycle, from detailed design through to construction and delivery.
Leading a small team of interface engineers, you’ll work closely with Design, Systems Engineering, Safety, SESA and external suppliers to identify and resolve interface risks early, align stakeholders and ensure the right assurance evidence is in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobilise, implement and embed effective interface management processes across the project.
- Lead and manage the interface engineering team, ensuring delivery of interface definition and assurance documentation.
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Safety, SESA and Design Management to integrate interface requirements into the project assurance framework.
- Represent the project in customer and supplier interface workshops, reviews and forums.
- Resolve complex, high ‑ risk interface issues and ensure all interface reviews, verification and validation activities are governed and approved by senior engineering leadership.

About You
- Extensive engineering experience on complex infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong experience managing interfaces, integration or systems engineering activities.
- Preferred background in rail; experience in transport, roads, tunnels or heavy industry also considered.
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineers, influence senior stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
- Confidence operating independently in a fast paced, high accountability environment.
