The Opportunity
The Insurance Specialist is responsible for Achieving assigned sales targets based on product mix through meeting bank sales team on daily basis to explore opportunities for insurance sales.
Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, building rapport with ENBD staff, sales skills and lead management knowledge
This opportunity will be mainly located in ENBD premises
Key Responsibilities
- Achieving assigned sales targets based on product mix through meeting bank sales team on daily basis to explore opportunities for insurance sales.
- Maintaining business pipeline for month in conjunction with RM/WA
- Responsible for arranging product training, training refresher for sales team on regular basis.
- Responsible to educate sales team on underwriting guidelines to ensure smooth flow of business.
- Responsible for arranging training on completion of application/documentation for business sourced to ensure the TAT are maintained.
- Responsible to keep the sales team updated with the requirements of business submitted to MetLife
- Responsible for field underwriting of New Applications (completeness of relevant documentation)
- Provide monthly performance reports of Fund Performance on MetLife platform to sales team.
- Facilitate provision of policy statements, Fund fact sheets to sales team on timely basis.
- Ensure that all the sales material (Application/brochures etc) are available to sales team at all times.
- Attend Joint client meetings with RM/WA.
- Tracking of contest qualifiers
- Support to work on untapped clients/data of bank to generate new avenues of business.
- Focus on RM activation across all segments to increase the business
- Providing portfolio synopsis for HNI clients (Million dollar +)
- Assist RM/WA in portfolio review of clients on quarterly basis
- Drive balanced portfolio mix of protection and savings
- Drive balanced premium mix of regular and single
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required (Bachelor)
- 2-4 years of experience within retail sales (preferred in insurance, or banking environment)
- Sales capabilities
- Solid knowledge of Dubai market
- Bilingual (Arabic & English)
- MS Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional insurance qualifications, such as LOMA or Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) certifications, would be considered an advantage
- AI experience
