The role is about supporting, helping and guiding relationship managers in increasing their insurance productivity and building insurance penetration within RM managed clients by identifying and fulfilling holistic insurance needs of customers.

In This Role, You

  • Conduct Holistic financial planning reviews with Clients alongside the relationship manager, assess product suitability and market and regulatory change impact to products held by clients as appropriate, identify opportunities to address any client need and manage risks.
  • Improve Relationship Managers’ productivity and specific technical knowledge by effective on-job engagement through demonstration, coaching and training.
  • Join Relationship Managers in meeting clients and providing technical advice and input based on technical knowledge.
  • Collect and apply market and channel intelligence to identify and share product competitive gaps, service issues, business opportunities, and challenges with stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to Relationship Managers, sharing knowledge and encouraging others to do the same.
  • Liaise between stakeholders and leadership teams on training and leads programs/initiatives.
  • Provide support to Relationship Managers on increasing and capturing cross sell opportunities.
  • Deliver fair outcomes to HSBC UAE clients and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operations of financial markets.
  • Achieve agreed KPI objectives and profit growth through the improvement in relationship manager engagement with their clients.
  • Use tools, information, and delivery channels effectively to deliver the highest levels of client service.
  • Monitor and act on daily sales activity management information and other internal information tools, using them to effectively grow or maintain wallet share of clients.
  • Fully utilize the Client Relationship Management data and help ensure client information is complete and kept up to date.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Graduation degree is a must to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
  • Strong experience in financial services, client advisory & Relationship Management.
  • Evidence of strong client recommendation and sales results in wealth products specifically Insurance.
  • Equivalent relationship management experience in managing high net worth client portfolios preferred.
  • Expert knowledge in financial planning and insurance products.
  • Have strong passion in training and coaching of insurance products, concept and sales with Relationship Managers
  • Sound knowledge of the impact of macroeconomics/microeconomics/local market developments.
  • Expert knowledge of external regulatory framework relevant to wealth management.
  • Strong clients focus and ability to develop long term partnerships with clients.
  • Ability to deliver needs-based solutions through effective communication, influencing, and sales skills.
  • Local regulatory & license requirements - job holder should possess valid licenses with accreditation on wealth management and qualification as required by country.
  • Clear view on how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment.
  • Able to communicate well in English and Arabic is preferred.
