Job Description

Job Purpose:To support the collection, analysis, interpretation and application of institutional data in support of the University’s reporting requirements (internal and external) to achieve RIT’s strategic goals.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Institutional Effectiveness (IE) Office, ensuring efficient execution of departmental functions independently and in coordination with the team.
  • Support institutional planning, assessment, research, and evaluation activities, including data analysis, trend identification, and preparation of reports for internal decision-making and accreditation purposes.
  • Assist in implementing processes for reviewing and assessing the effectiveness of academic programs and support services, including survey administration, data collection, and qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Compile, organize, and maintain quantitative and qualitative data related to institutional effectiveness, including student enrollment, retention, transfer activity, institutional characteristics, and financial indicators.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely availability of data and supporting documentation to meet institutional reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the administration and coordination of institutional surveys and assessments (e.g., student, faculty, staff, departmental, and exit surveys), including data collection and tracking.
  • Provide administrative and documentation support for the submission of assessment, evaluation, and accreditation reports in accordance with applicable ministerial (CAA/KHDA) standards and timelines.
  • Assist in course folders and program review processes to ensure alignment with ministerial (CAA) standards and institutional policies.
  • Support University-wide initiatives by collecting and analyzing relevant data to inform evidence-based decision-making.
  • Perform any other duties assigned to support departmental objectives and the overall goals of the University.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant (internal and external) regulations including QHSE requirements using RIT policies and procedures as appropriate.


Required Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Quality Assurance, Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience in institutional effectiveness, institutional research or quality assurance in a CAA accredited University
  • Computer proficiency skills, which include advanced knowledge of Excel & Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
