Job Description

As an Inspector, HSE 25M26, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental standards of our organization are met and maintained. You will be responsible for conducting regular inspections, identifying and addressing potential hazards, and ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to. Your duties will also include collaborating with various departments to develop safety procedures, providing training to staff on safety measures, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. With a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of HSE regulations, you will help foster a safe and healthy working environment, minimizing risks and promoting a culture of safety and compliance.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards in the workplace.
  • Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with departments to develop and implement effective safety procedures.
  • Provide comprehensive training to employees on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Analyze incident reports to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure all safety equipment is available, maintained, and in good working condition.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and suggest improvement measures.
  • Collaborate with external HSE consultants and auditors when necessary.
  • Stay updated on the latest HSE regulations and industry best practices.
  • Implement and monitor emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
  • Offer guidance and support in risk assessment and management activities.
  • Foster a culture of safety through communication, education, and example.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HSE role within relevant industries.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills required.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey safety information and protocols.
  • Proven ability to conduct thorough investigations and document findings clearly.
  • Certification in HSE disciplines such as ASP, CSP, or similar is advantageous.
