The Inside Sales Specialist - HVAC Core plays a pivotal role in driving the revenue and growth of the company by focusing on the direct sales of core HVAC products. As an integral link between the company and its clientele, the specialist is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with both existing customers and new prospects. By utilizing their in-depth knowledge of HVAC products and sales acumen, they identify customer needs and provide them with appropriate solutions. This role also involves working collaboratively with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction and promote a seamless purchase experience. The ideal candidate is expected to exhibit exceptional communication skills, proficiency in technical product details, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Manage and effectively nurture a portfolio of existing HVAC clients to drive sales growth.
Identify and proactively reach out to new sales opportunities in the HVAC sector.
Coordinate with technical teams to better understand HVAC product specifications.
Conduct market research to glean insights into competitor offerings and pricing.
Engage in extensive cold calling to build new customer relationships in HVAC.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential HVAC clients.
Maintain detailed records of client interactions in the company CRM system.
Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with campaign goals.
Participate in industry events to increase the presence of the brand in HVAC.
Provide timely feedback to management regarding client needs and industry trends.
Ensure customer issues are promptly addressed in a professional manner.
Exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the sales department.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of three years experience in inside sales within the HVAC industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets consistently.
Comprehensive understanding of HVAC products, solutions, and market needs.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are mandatory.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite is essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative sales team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
