Job Description

As an Inside Sales Engineer specializing in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), you will play a pivotal role in our sales team by providing essential technical expertise and support. Your deep knowledge of HVAC systems and a knack for customer engagement will help bridge the gap between technical specifications and customer needs, ensuring we deliver optimal solutions. Working closely with the sales, engineering, and customer service teams, you will aid in developing proposals, responding to inquiries, and nurturing client relationships with precision and professionalism. You will be instrumental in driving sales growth by leveraging your engineering acumen to understand complex problems and craft customized solutions, thereby adding significant value to our business operations.


Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and detailed explanations to customers about HVAC solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and offer tailored solutions.
  • Develop and present sales proposals in coordination with engineering and sales teams.
  • Review and interpret detailed engineering specifications and project plans.
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly, providing accurate information regarding product capabilities.
  • Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) system with relevant sales data.
  • Coordinate with product managers to optimize solution offerings and pricing strategies.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical seminars for potential and existing clients.
  • Monitor market conditions and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
  • Participate in continuous training and development to enhance industry knowledge and skills.
  • Facilitate communication between customers and technical teams to ensure project success.
  • Assist in the drafting of sales contracts and agreements in collaboration with legal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC or related technical sales.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their applications in various industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client base.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
