Job Description

Inside IT Sales Account Manager plays a vital role in driving revenue growth through direct interaction with clients, focusing on building solid relationships and understanding their IT needs. This professional is responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets by effectively managing a portfolio of accounts and working collaboratively with other team members. They need to possess an in-depth understanding of IT products and services, leveraging their expertise to offer clients the solutions that best meet their business objectives. The role involves a combination of lead generation, qualification, and closing deals, making it essential for the Inside IT Sales Account Manager to maintain updated knowledge of market trends, competitor offerings, and business development strategies. Additionally, they act as a liaison between the client and the company to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with assigned customer accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell IT products and services to clients.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets by generating revenues from new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align on strategies for lead generation.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and action plans for management review.
  • Act as a point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Attend training sessions to stay current on emerging technologies and sales techniques.
  • Work closely with product development teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements, ensuring mutual satisfaction of parties involved.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, customer information, and forecast data.
  • Provide strategic input on business initiatives based on customer feedback and market trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT sales or a similar role preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand and interpret client data and market trends.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools required.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to achieve common objectives.
