ABOUT THE ROLE
The IT Engineer will provide high-touch support to trading desks and executive staff within a fast-paced banking environment. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and incident management, ensuring seamless operations on the trading floor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support trading desks and executive staff with IT-related issues.
Troubleshoot Bloomberg and other financial applications effectively.
Provide white-glove desktop support to ensure user satisfaction.
Manage and troubleshoot Windows workstations.
Respond rapidly to incidents impacting trading operations, while managing trouble tickets.
Collaborate with global teams to provide continuous support across different regions.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in investment banking IT support is essential.
Knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal support is a significant advantage.
Strong foundational skills in Windows and networking troubleshooting.
Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
NICE TO HAVE
Certifications in relevant IT support or networking fields.
Experience with other financial applications beyond Bloomberg.
Familiarity with Mac OS support.
