Job Description
The Information Technology Officer will provide technical support and assistance to ensure efficient and secure operation of the organization's IT infrastructure. They will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, implementing security measures, and maintaining IT systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, as well as knowledge of IT best practices.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.
- Ensure data security and protection by implementing appropriate security measures.
- Monitor and maintain network and server infrastructure.
- Conduct system audits to identify vulnerabilities or risks.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar IT support or systems administration role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
