Job Description

The Influencer Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing influencer marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. This role involves identifying and managing relationships with influencers, negotiating partnerships, and analyzing campaign performance to maximize ROI.

The ideal candidate is creative, strategic, and has strong relationship management skills, with a keen understanding of social media trends and influencer culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Campaign Planning
  • Develop influencer marketing strategies that align with brand and marketing objectives.
  • Identify target audiences and select appropriate influencers across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, etc.).
  • Plan campaign budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and social media teams to ensure integrated campaigns.
  • Influencer Identification & Relationship Management
  • Research, identify, and vet potential influencers based on reach, engagement, relevance, and authenticity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers, talent agencies, and brand ambassadors.
  • Negotiate contracts, deliverables, and compensation agreements with influencers.
  • Ensure influencers comply with brand guidelines, FTC regulations, and campaign requirements.
  • Campaign Execution & Content Collaboration
  • Coordinate influencer content creation, approvals, and publishing schedules.
  • Ensure influencer content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and campaign objectives.
  • Collaborate with influencers to create authentic, engaging, and creative content.
  • Track campaign timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time execution.
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Monitor influencer campaign performance and measure KPIs, including reach, engagement, conversions, and ROI.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Maintain reports on influencer partnerships, budgets, and outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Industry & Trend Awareness
  • Stay up-to-date on social media trends, influencer marketing best practices, and emerging platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage new platforms, formats, and influencer partnerships.
  • Monitor competitor influencer strategies to maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in influencer marketing, social media marketing, or brand partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, influencer ecosystems, and content trends.
  • Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with influencer marketing platforms (AspireIQ, Upfluence, CreatorIQ).
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools and reporting metrics.
  • Experience in B2B or B2C influencer campaigns.
  • Understanding of content strategy and brand storytelling.
  • Knowledge of FTC guidelines and influencer disclosure requirements.
