We are seeking an experienced and passionate Indian/Chinese Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook traditional Indian and Chinese dishes maintaining high standards.
  • Develop new fusion dishes that combine Indian and Chinese cooking styles.
  • Manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely preparation of meals.
  • Ensure all food preparation meets the quality and presentation standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and work areas for cleanliness.
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Create and modify menus to reflect seasonal and market trends.
  • Oversee food quantities to avoid waste while ensuring ample supply.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety procedures.
  • Monitor food safety and hygiene standards to comply with regulations.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and adapt dishes to accommodate dietary preferences.
  • Collaborate with the management team to enhance the dining experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a chef with expertise in Indian and Chinese cuisines.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience in a reputed institution.
  • Strong understanding of traditional Indian and Chinese cooking techniques.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to create innovative dishes while maintaining traditional flavors.
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards to ensure health compliance.
  • Outstanding leadership skills to manage and motivate kitchen staff effectively.
