As an Incoming Quality Inspection Specialist - MCB 3D Measurement, you are responsible for inspecting incoming and in-process all critical MCB components, sub-assemblies and materials to ensure they meet quality and specification requirements before being released to production. You perform detailed dimensional inspection, visual and measurement inspections, verify documentation, and maintain accurate records. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical components, and prior experience in metrological laboratory using advanced instruments such as CMM, 3D visual measuring instruments and profile projector etc. for inspection of parts required in MCB, ACB and/or Switchgear manufacturing industries.

What You’ll Do

  • Receive and inspect incoming, in-process all critical MCB components, and sub-assemblies MCB components, consumables and materials.
  • Verify quantity, part numbers, and supplier documentation.
  • Perform visual and detailed dimensional inspections using appropriate tools and advanced instruments such as CMM, 3D visual measuring instruments.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Document inspection results and maintain traceability records.
  • Identify and segregate non-conforming materials.
  • Coordinate with procurement and quality teams for disposition of rejected items.
  • Ensure proper safe handling and storage of components.
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement in incoming quality control processes.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in MCB, ACB and/or Switchgear manufacturing industries with a focus on incoming quality control and component inspection


Skills

  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components, consumables for MCB, ACB and Switchgear products.
  • Hands on experience use of advanced instruments such as CMM, 3D visual measuring instruments and profile projector etc.
  • Proficiency in inspection tools such as calipers, microscopes, and multimeters.
  • Ability to read datasheets, specifications, and delivery documents.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems for material tracking.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
