SITE ID MANAGER

Client-Side | Interior Design & Project Delivery

Role Overview:
The Site ID Manager is responsible for ensuring that the approved interior design intent is successfully
delivered on site, in accordance with the approved drawings, specifications, quality standards,
programme, and project requirements.


Key Responsibilities:
 Design Coordination: Coordinate with the Interior Designer, Architect, MEP, Structural,
Contractor, and specialist subcontractors to ensure proper design integration and site execution.
 Shop Drawing Review: Review and comment on shop drawings, material submittals, technical
submissions, samples, mock-ups, and method statements for compliance with the approved
design and specifications.
 Site Inspection: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, finishes, materials,
joinery, doors, sanitaryware, ceilings, flooring, and other interior works.
 Design Intent: Ensure that the approved design intent, materials, finishes, details, and quality
standards are maintained throughout construction.
 Material & Sample Approval: Review materials and samples for colour, finish, quality,
dimensions, specifications, and compliance with approved selections.
 Technical Coordination: Identify and resolve design, coordination, constructability, and
interface issues between ID, architectural, structural, and MEP works.
 Contractor Management: Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance and ensure works
are executed in accordance with approved documents and project requirements.
 Procurement Coordination: Coordinate with procurement on material availability, approved
alternatives, long-lead items, and potential impacts on design and programme.
 RFI & Design Changes: Review RFIs, technical queries, proposed alternatives, and design
changes while protecting the approved design intent.
 Quality Control: Identify non-conforming works, coordinate corrective actions, and verify
rectification and compliance.
 Progress Monitoring: Monitor ID-related progress, identify potential delays, and coordinate
actions to maintain the project programme.
 Snagging & Handover: Conduct inspections, monitor snagging and de-snagging, and ensure
interior works are completed to the required quality before handover.
