Job Scope

We are looking for a skilled and experienced IBM Maximo Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the technical implementation, customization, and integration of IBM Maximo Asset Management solutions. The consultant will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality enterprise asset management solutions aligned with business requirements.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

Design, configure, and implement IBM Maximo solutions based on business and technical requirements.
Customize Maximo applications using Java, Automation Scripts, BIRT Reports, and Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
Integrate Maximo with external systems using REST/SOAP web services and middleware tools.
⁠Support data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, and loading.
⁠Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Maximo performance, integrations, and customizations.
Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
⁠Ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and compliance policies

Position Requirements

Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo (v7.6 or later).

Strong knowledge of Maximo architecture, MBOs, Automation Scripts, and Database Configuration.
Proficient in Java, SQL, XML, and scripting languages used in Maximo customizations.
Experience with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and external system integrations.
⁠Familiarity with BIRT or other Maximo-compatible reporting tools.
Experience with upgrades, system performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge in Tririga/ Maximo Real Estate & Facilities is a plus.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Management Information System or any other related field

IBM Certified Deployment Professional – Maximo Asset Management
⁠Experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8.x)
Exposure to Maximo industry solutions (e.g., Maximo for Utilities, Transportation, HSE, or Service Provider)
⁠Knowledge of cloud-hosted environments or Maximo SaaS deployments

Experience

At least 5 years of relevant experience.
