Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of building energy use with the aim of optimizing HVAC performance.

• Address and resolve any mechanical issues that arise during system testing phases.
• Maintain detailed documentation of systems performance, upgrades, and compliance checks.
• Review and comply with legal standards for safe and effective HVAC operations.
• Evaluate cost estimates for HVAC projects, considering labor and material expenses.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance teams on HVAC system upkeep.
• Research the latest technologies to recommend innovative approaches to HVAC design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is required.
• Proven experience working as an HVAC Engineer in a professional setting is necessary.
• Solid understanding of HVAC design software such as AutoCAD or Revit is essential.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics in practical applications needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective partnership with cross-functional teams.
