Job Summary

As an HV Sample Testing JR at Hitachi, Ltd., you will be responsible for assisting in the execution of high voltage (HV) testing on samples to ensure product quality and compliance with established standards. This entry-level role involves supporting senior engineers and technicians in test setup, data collection, and basic analysis.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and setup of high voltage testing equipment and samples according to test plans and safety protocols.
• Support the execution of various HV tests, including but not limited to dielectric strength, impulse, partial discharge, and insulation resistance tests.
• Record test data accurately and meticulously, including readings, observations, and any anomalies.
• Perform basic data entry and assist with initial data analysis under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized testing environment, ensuring proper storage and calibration of equipment.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures related to high voltage testing.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and optimize testing processes.
• Document test procedures and contribute to the improvement of testing methodologies.
• Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to senior personnel immediately.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits, high voltage principles, and safety practices.
• Familiarity with common laboratory equipment and measurement tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for data recording and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in high voltage testing.
