Job Description

The Human Resources Officer plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining a productive workforce by implementing effective HR policies and managing various HR functions. This position requires an individual who is adept at managing recruitment processes, coordinating employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. As an HR Officer, you will work closely with department heads to understand staffing needs and identify suitable candidates. Responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and enhance performance.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and government regulations applicable to the organization.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in a confidential manner.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Assist in the performance appraisal process to help identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage employee benefits programs and address any related queries or issues.
  • Provide administrative support in HR-related tasks and projects as required.
  • Collaborate with department heads to determine staffing needs and fill vacancies efficiently.
  • Monitor HR metrics to assess and improve the effectiveness of HR strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR role or similar position.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices applicable to the industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and management.
  • Proficient in using HR software and Microsoft Office applications for daily operations.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to manage conflicts effectively.
