Job Description

As a Human Resources Officer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the employee experience and ensuring a versatile, engaged, and high-performing workforce. Your primary responsibilities will encompass a wide range of HR-related tasks, including employee management, recruitment, and compliance with employment laws. You will be responsible for implementing HR policies, developing HR strategies to align with business objectives, and fostering a positive organizational culture. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies that align with organizational goals and legal requirements.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Address employee inquiries and issues, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Facilitate performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback sessions.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, explaining options and processing claims accordingly.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, updating policies when necessary.
  • Promote positive employee relations by organizing team-building activities and engagement strategies.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform strategic decision-making and improve HR processes.
  • Collaborate with department managers to forecast staffing needs and manage workforce planning.
  • Investigate and resolve workplace conflicts, promoting a harmonious and inclusive environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in a human resources role or similar capacity.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and regulations relevant to the industry.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in conflict resolution.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing effective HR strategies and initiatives.
