Danfoss is seeking a motivated HR Enthusiast eager to embrace new opportunities. The HR Intern will support the HR Manager, leaders, and employees in fostering an engaged and productive workforce through Danfoss policies, programs, and practices.

This role includes direct responsibilities for payroll assisting, maintaining employee data, processing salary and benefit payments, conducting HR audits and reporting, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures across our offices in the MENA and South Africa regions for a six-month fixed-term contract.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assisting in development and implementation of human resource policies,
  • Supporting employees in various HR-related issues such as, leave, compensation and solving any problems that may arise,
  • Assisting and/or managing activities that help increase satisfaction, motivation, engagement and retention,
  • Managing and updating old/existing and newly hired personnel files in the Human Resources Information System database,
  • Supporting the processes by being responsible for all aspects of leave management, health benefits/insurance and vendor management,
  • Managing HR projects (meetings, trainings, surveys, etc.),
  • Assisting with payroll and payroll-related reports and managing the process from beginning to end,
  • Conducting communications with public services, when necessary,
  • Providing initial orientation to newly hired employees,

What Were Looking For
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant area of Business, Human Resources, or another relevant field is required,
  • Knowledge on labour laws,
  • Ability to manage the time and meet deadlines, with high level of accuracy,
  • Strong communication skills with detailed- oriented mindset,
  • Proficeny in Microsoft Office Programs,
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
