Human Resources Department seeks an incumbent for the position Human Resources Business Partner. He/she will be responsible for implementing the Business Partner related activities, including the strategic alignment of HR initiatives, workforce planning, and employee relations support, to enhance organizational effectiveness and ensure full compliance with institutional policies, labor law, and the University’s Strategic objectives.
The Responsibilities
Align HR strategies with the specific objectives and operational requirements of business units to support overall institutional performance.
Lead integrations of HR initiatives including talent management, change management and workforces planning to support goals of the business units.
Provide guidance to department heads and managers regarding workforce planning, organizational structure, and other HR related pillars.
Advise on performance management processes, including objective setting, performance appraisal frameworks, and Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
Work closely with the Organizational Development and Training function to identify talent development requirements.
Collaborate with the concerned functions to address employee relations issues and ensure fair resolution in line with Human Resources policies.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, institutional Human Resources policies and frameworks, and relevant regulatory requirements across all Human Resources related activities.
Act as a liaison between employees and the Human Resources department, promoting transparent communication and providing support in an accurate and timely manner.
Participate in succession planning activities and identify high-potential employees related to leadership development programs.
Work closely with the recruitment and Emiratization function to provide input related to role requirements, interview panels, and candidate selection to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Perform Ad-hoc activities related to the job duties, as requested by the Direct Supervisor.
The Requirements
Must possess a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field and a minimum of 8 years relevant experience in the within Human Resources or an equivalent combination ofeducation, skill or experience.
Other Essential Requirements
Certification in Hay Salary methodology
Fluency in Arabic & English
Ability to travel between Abu Dhabi and Dubai
Desired Or Preferred Requirements
Experience working in the academic environment.
