As a Human Resources Administrator, you’re not just providing support to HR department managers – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
As a Human Resources Administrator, you are responsible for all Human Resources Team Member related activities. These activities include recruitment, learning and development and training, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, health and safety, and other team-based activities. Specifically, a Human Resources Administrator will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Initiate recruitment activities using TMX, the Company's talent management system
- Input data into the hotel payroll system and communicate with payroll to ensure accuracy
- Manage all Human Resource administration and onboarding activities
- Support Human Resources activities, including onboarding, work experience program, careers fairs, training materials, and Team Member opinion surveys
- Serve as the point of contact for Team Member issues, advising the Human Resources Director as appropriate
- Keep current with employment law, human resources policies, and training requirements
- Assist in the organization of Team Member social events
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTION
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
- Maintains all hotel personnel records and Human Resources files to ensure confidentiality where necessary.
- Assists in the administration of all employee benefit programs ensuring compliance with procedures and open enrollment is successful.
- Assists in the development of all team members by developing or using predetermined programs and/or instructs in the skills and techniques required to perform their job in accordance with the standard determined by the corporation and/or hotel.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Human Resources Manager
