Job Description

An Human Resource Officer plays a vital role in managing the workforce, ensuring that organizational goals are met through effectively managing its most valuable asset – its people. As a Human Resource Officer, you will be responsible for a range of HR functions including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and personnel records management. This role requires excellent people skills, a comprehensive understanding of HR functions, and the ability to maintain a balanced and professional approach to managing both people and problems. You will work closely with department heads to meet the company’s HR needs and enhance employee engagement, all while ensuring compliance with national regulations and company policies. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process from job posting to onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and develop performance management systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and HR counsel to management teams and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements to minimize risks.
  • Organize training sessions and workshops for employee development.
  • Foster a positive workplace environment to boost employee satisfaction.
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary issues professionally and promptly.
  • Assist in developing HR policies and procedures to improve operations.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to inform strategic workforce decisions.
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives within the workplace culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a human resources role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks.
