As an HSE Trainer, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering health, safety, and environmental training programs to employees within the organization. Your role is to ensure that employees are well-informed, compliant with safety regulations, and equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to maintain a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with HSE professionals and management to identify training needs and program objectives.
Develop comprehensive HSE training programs, materials, and resources tailored to the UAE's regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for employees at all levels, including new hires and experienced personnel.
Utilize various training methods, such as classroom instruction, hands-on exercises, e-learning, and workshops.
Educate employees on HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance specific to the UAE.
Emphasize the importance of adherence to safety guidelines and reporting any incidents or hazards.
Promote environmental awareness and responsible practices, including waste management, energy conservation, and sustainability efforts.
Educate employees on the environmental impact of their activities.
Provide training on emergency response procedures, including first aid, fire safety, evacuation drills, and crisis management.
Assess employee comprehension and performance during and after training sessions.
Identify areas for improvement and adapt training programs accordingly.
Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and assessment results.
Ensure that all training documentation is up to date and accessible for audits and compliance purposes.
Stay updated on emerging HSE trends, regulations, and best practices in the UAE.
Continuously improve training materials and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness of training programs.
Provide regular reports and updates to HSE management on training outcomes, compliance status, and areas of concern.
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Professional certifications in HSE training (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA Trainer).
Proven experience as an HSE Trainer, preferably in the UAE or the Middle East region.
In-depth knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and training needs.
