HSE Officer

Kazamer Tax Consultant is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious HSE Officer to join our team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a professional with strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations who can promote a safe workplace, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement effective HSE practices across the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Organize safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees.
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
• Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and promote safe work practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend preventive measures to minimize workplace hazards.
• Maintain HSE documentation, inspection records, incident reports, and compliance logs.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, fire drills, and evacuation procedures.
• Work closely with management to continuously improve workplace health and safety performance.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as an HSE Officer or in a similar safety role.
• Good knowledge of UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety management systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.
