We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to join our team. As an HSE Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's health and safety programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, environmental conservation, and workplace safety practices. You will work closely with all departments to promote a culture of safety and compliance, conducting regular audits, inspections, and training sessions as required. Your ultimate goal will be to reduce health and safety risks and ensure adherence to all relevant legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies and programs.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with local and federal health and safety regulations and standards.
• Lead investigations into accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions, providing detailed reports and solutions.
• Develop training programs to enhance employee safety and awareness of HSE practices.
• Work collaboratively with departments to enforce and improve health and safety measures.
• Monitor and analyze HSE metrics to determine areas for improvement or intervention.
• Develop emergency response plans and conduct regular drills and training sessions.
• Review and update health, safety, and environmental documentation and protocols regularly.
• Stay abreast of new laws, regulations, and industry practices to ensure continuous compliance.
• Foster a strong safety culture by promoting best practices and collaborative solutions.
• Coordinate with government and regulatory agencies for compliance and incident reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of five years' experience working in a health and safety management role.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA and other HSE regulations and standards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough risk assessments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective training and leadership.
• Proven ability to manage and lead safety projects and programs across organizations.
• Certification in HSE management or occupational safety is highly desirable.
