Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to support Health, Safety, and Environmental activities for Oil & Gas operations in the Eastern Province. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring HSE activities, ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco and project HSE requirements, and promoting a strong safety culture across operational sites.

Candidates with experience in both Rig/Drilling and Non-Rig Oil & Gas environments are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and project safety requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco HSE standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and site safety assessments.
  • Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor and support the implementation of Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and risk assessment processes.
  • Participate in incident and accident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.
  • Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection reports, incident reports, and safety performance records.
  • Coordinate and conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, HSE awareness sessions, and safety training programs.
  • Organize and participate in emergency response drills and ensure personnel are familiar with emergency procedures.
  • Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other HSE-critical equipment.
  • Participate in safety meetings and communicate HSE alerts, lessons learned, and safety initiatives to employees.
  • Follow up on observations, audit findings, and non-conformances to ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
  • Coordinate with project management, supervisors, contractors, and client representatives on HSE-related matters.
  • Monitor environmental compliance, waste management, spill prevention, and other environmental protection requirements.
  • Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, Construction, Drilling, or Industrial projects.
  • Previous experience working on Saudi Aramco projects is highly preferred.
  • Saudi Aramco RTS approval/experience will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in Rig/Drilling operations or Non-Rig Oil & Gas operations will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco HSE requirements, standards, and procedures.
  • Good understanding of PTW, JSA, Risk Assessment, HAZID, Incident Investigation, and Emergency Response.
  • Experience conducting HSE inspections, audits, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training programs.
  • NEBOSH IGC certification is highly preferred.
  • Additional certifications such as IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, First Aid, H2S, Confined Space, or Fire Safety will be advantageous.
  • Strong reporting, documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently in field and operational environments.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
