Experience a fast-paced, multicultural environment where your expertise in human resources will contribute to building a world-class employee experience while advancing your own career on a global stage.
As the HR Technology Partner (Emiratisation), you will plan, implement, and provide support for a range of HR technology solutions covering the entire employee life cycle, from hire to retire, and assist the end-user community in the efficient and effective use of HR systems. You will work to continuously provide improved systems functionality and ensure, through participation in the systems development life cycle, that the proposed system or solution delivers the expected business results. You will support process improvements and the standardisation of procedures to improve efficiency and ensure control over HR systems–related activities.
In This Role, You Will
Work with stakeholders to identify, agree, and prioritise opportunities for automation (and their benefits) as per the governance model. Establish and conduct Work Programme and service reviews with key stakeholders, and manage their respective accounts as a key account manager.
Collate and analyse business requirements and system enhancements to ensure the end result is in line with the business requirements. Monitor new developments, assess their relevance for the business, and advise business areas on the changes. Communicate these to the IT team and escalate enhancements required to the relevant IT team members.
Build partnerships and work closely with internal technology teams and vendors to implement tools and system solutions. Work with IT Product Owners on the prioritisation of IT enhancements across the HR system landscape, working closely with IT to manage projects within the stipulated time frames and budget.
Suggest, formulate, and document solutions to meet individual department needs and ensure that proposed changes are in the overall best interests of the business and the future strategy of the system. Consider the impact on the numerous linked systems and ensure that these are accounted for. Escalate, through relevant channels, functional issues and conflicts and provide recommendations for potential solutions.
Control the testing and sign-off of enhancements, patches, and new releases. Ensure end-user communities are informed in advance of changes and new functionality introduced to allow for end-user education and familiarisation prior to release. Track problem reports raised by end-users and provide guidance on resolutions. Follow up on the resolution of system bugs and Change Requests, providing explanations whenever needed, and ensure that end-users are kept informed of the progress of the problem reports raised by them. Co-ordinate the implementation of system upgrades and ensure that the EK Group’s specific developments are working in conjunction with the upgrade.
Work with IT to ensure that all support calls are resolved within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA). Ensure that agreed SIP initiatives are delivered and contribute to reducing the overall support investment.
Maintain all user-owned system documentation, including the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Identify changes required to the documentation as a result of new business requirements or system upgrades; agree and document the new procedure with the relevant departments.
Act as the HR technology centre of excellence by supporting ongoing systems-related training within the department. Provide expert advice and guidance to users, answering functional queries, identifying areas of enhancement through system monitoring, and suggesting best practices that offer potential cost or productivity savings. Identify areas for process and system improvements, standardise procedures, and act as an interface between the HR departments and departments across the Group. Support the implementation of procedures and process improvements, and define and establish benchmarks and standards against which the processes are measured.
Support the HR Analytics teams by providing technology solutions to develop and maintain workforce metrics. Partner closely with the People Experience team and more broadly across HR, collaborating cross-functionally to help uncover data across the employee life cycle. Assist with technology solutions that help gather insights, create modelling, and build dashboards that enable intelligent and strategic people decisions.
Support change processes in conjunction with strategic business plans; take the lead role in the management of business improvement projects through to implementation. Ensure every automation is tracked for its benefits by working with business stakeholders.
