Job Description

The HR & Recruitment Officer plays a pivotal role in attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent necessary for the success of an organization. This professional is tasked with leveraging various recruitment strategies to ensure that positions are filled quickly and efficiently with the most qualified candidates. In addition to recruitment, the HR & Recruitment Officer also manages a variety of human resources functions such as employee relations, performance management, and training and development programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining positive relationships across all levels of the organization. With an eye for detail and a passion for human resources, this role requires an individual who is not only adept at administrative tasks but also proactive in solving HR issues. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.
  • Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers efficiently.
  • Maintain a detailed database of current and potential candidates for future roles.
  • Collaborate with department heads to anticipate and plan for staffing needs.
  • Review and update job descriptions to accurately reflect role requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee training programs.
  • Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance and resolution strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance to support ongoing development efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations during the hiring process.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for HR metrics, recruitment, and retention strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in HR and recruitment roles necessary.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software is essential.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates and staff.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple vacancies.
  • Thorough understanding of employment laws and recruitment best practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
