Job Description

The HR Recruiter (Construction Recruitment) is a key player in the HR team, responsible for sourcing and recruiting talented individuals for various roles within the construction industry. This role demands an individual who is both strategic and passionate about connecting skilled workers with the right career opportunities. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of recruitment processes, specifically in the construction sector. Responsibilities

  • Identify and source qualified candidates through various recruitment channels and platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Screen and interview potential candidates to assess their skill sets and experience levels.
  • Design and implement efficient recruitment strategies to attract top industry talent.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and candidate profiles.
  • Conduct reference checks and background verification of short-listed candidates.
  • Maintain an up-to-date candidate database and explore new recruitment technologies.
  • Provide detailed feedback and coaching to candidates for smoother interview processes.
  • Create positive candidate experiences by maintaining effective communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Stay updated on construction industry trends and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to develop and manage recruitment metrics and reporting.
  • Participate in job fairs, campus recruitment, and networking events as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in recruitment within the construction industry is a must.
  • Strong understanding of construction roles and required skill sets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for relationship building.
  • Proficient in using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems, and online job boards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple recruitment projects.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
