Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent, organised, and service-oriented individual to join our team as an HR Officer – Visa Cancellation & Separation Services. This pivotal role is ideal for an HR professional with a keen eye for compliance, a commitment to confidentiality, and a passion for delivering seamless employee offboarding experiences. You will play an essential part in ensuring effective visa cancellation processes, coordinating end-of-service responsibilities, and supporting departing employees through each step.

Key Responsibilities – Visa Cancellation, Employee Separation & Compliance

  • Administer the complete end-to-end visa cancellation process for outgoing employees, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Coordinate and support the exit and separation process, preparing and managing documentation such as final settlements, clearances, and HR forms.
  • Liaise with government authorities, PROs, and external agencies to process visa cancellation requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide clear communication and guidance to departing employees regarding visa cancellation procedures, timelines, and final settlement queries.
  • Ensure the accurate maintenance of separation files and records, in line with legal, audit, and company requirements.
  • Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, IT, and Department Managers to ensure smooth and timely offboarding of employees, including asset recovery and system access revocation.
  • Generate and submit relevant reports on visa cancellation and employee separations for HR and leadership review.
  • Remain up to date with changes in immigration, labour laws, and company policies to guarantee compliant and efficient HR practices.
  • Proactively identify potential issues or delays during visa cancellation and separation stages, and resolve them with minimal disruption.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, sensitivity, and professionalism in all matters relating to employee departures and legal compliance.

Required Skills – Human Resources, Visa Processing & Offboarding

  • Thorough understanding of visa cancellation procedures, labour law, and offboarding practices within the UAE (or relevant jurisdiction).
  • Strong administrative capabilities, with proven ability to handle sensitive documentation and confidential employee information.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to provide clear, courteous, and informative support to employees and internal stakeholders.
  • Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in HR documentation, settlement calculations, and compliance checks.
  • Outstanding organisational skills; able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience – HR Operations And Visa Administration

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least3 years of experience in HR operations, with specific exposure to visa processing and employee separation activities.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of local labour regulations, immigration procedures, and employee exit requirements.
  • IT proficiency, including working knowledge of HRMS, MS Office, and document management systems.
  • Experience in a multicultural environment; strong cultural sensitivity and adaptability are essential.
