Job Description

The HR Officer is a crucial role within our organization, responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This position requires a strong understanding of HR functions and best practices and the ability to ensure that the company’s human resources strategies align with its goals. The HR Officer will work closely with management and staff to maintain a productive and harmonious work environment, fostering employee engagement and development. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to organizational excellence. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process effectively and efficiently.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development and motivation of employees.
  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning metrics.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organization.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations throughout HR management processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to implement effective HR processes.
  • Implement workplace safety programs to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as an HR Officer or a similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor legislation and best practices in HR management.
  • Demonstrable leadership and decision-making skills and experience.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship-building.
  • Ability to work with confidential information and manage sensitive issues diplomatically.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with HR software and MS Office tools for data management.
