Job Description

The HR Officer is a critical member of our company's human resources team, responsible for managing a wide range of HR and administrative support functions. This role is vital in fostering a thriving work environment and ensuring the seamless operation of HR processes. The HR Officer will serve as a first point of contact for employees and management relating to HR policies, practices, and systems. You will have the opportunity to support a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of HR principles. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate recruiting activities and assist with the hiring process and selection.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR management system securely.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees and organize orientation programs.
  • Provide advice and guidance on employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Support performance management and employee development initiatives across teams.
  • Administer compensation and benefit programs, ensuring competitive and equitable systems.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify staffing needs and manage workforce planning.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to suggest improvements.
  • Assist with internal HR audits and compliance reporting as necessary.
  • Organize and manage employee engagement activities and workplace wellness programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with new HR trends and ensure integration into company practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar human resources role.
  • Excellent knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience with HR software systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and capacity to manage conflict effectively.
