Job Description

An HR Officer plays a crucial role in managing and developing a company's workforce. The position encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at fostering a positive work environment and ensuring that the HR practices align with the company's overall strategy and goals. As an HR Officer, you will deal with various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws. Your role will also involve administering compensation and benefits, promoting employee well-being, and handling inquiries related to HR policies. A successful HR Officer must have a solid understanding of HR management processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discrete professionalism. You will be expected to work effectively with all levels of staff and management to achieve organizational objectives and contribute to a high-performance culture.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top-tier talent.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training programs.
  • Develop and maintain performance management systems throughout the organization.
  • Manage disciplinary and grievance issues in compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and update job descriptions in coordination with various departments.
  • Administer employee compensation, benefits, and leave management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations to mitigate legal risks.
  • Promote a culture of health and well-being through employee engagement activities.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data privacy protection.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives to improve organizational efficiency.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in human resources or related positions.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and human resources best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
  • Experience in using HR software and Microsoft Office applications efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
