Job Description

As an HR Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the human resources department within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the day-to-day HR functions that support a healthy and productive workplace. This includes managing recruitment and selection processes, employee records, performance management, and compliance with employment law. You will also be responsible for fostering a positive work environment by organizing training and development programs, managing employee relations issues, and implementing HR policies and procedures. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the process of recruitment and selection of new employees.
  • Maintain and update employee records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Handle employee relations issues to resolve conflicts and build positive workplace relations.
  • Manage the administrative processes involved in onboarding and exiting employees.
  • Oversee the performance appraisal process, providing support and guidance to managers.
  • Organize training sessions and development programs to boost employee skills and morale.
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance.
  • Support the HR manager in strategic planning and implementation of HR initiatives.
  • Provide advice and support to employees regarding HR issues and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in similar HR roles is preferred and advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations at both state and federal levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for addressing diverse employee needs.
  • Familiarity with HR software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
