Job Description

The HR Officer plays a vital role in the smooth functioning of all human resources operations within an organization. This position requires a professional who is proficient in ensuring comprehensive support to the HR department, particularly in handling recruitment, on-boarding, and employee relations. As an HR Officer, you will be responsible for facilitating HR functions, including managing employee records, conducting background checks, and supporting the implementation of HR policies. This position calls for someone with a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the company. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure high-quality candidates are selected.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development and motivation of employees.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management activities and maintain records.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program to attract and retain top talent.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor appropriate programs for development.
  • Cultivate a positive working environment that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Run regular training sessions to keep the team updated on HR policies.
  • Manage employee onboarding, off-boarding, and ensure a seamless transition for new hires.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of proven working experience in human resources.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations is essential.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with HR systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are required.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities are essential.
  • Strong ethical standards and high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
