Job Description

The HR Officer will play a crucial role in nurturing a positive working environment and facilitating a seamless HR operation within our organization. As a key player in the HR department, you will be responsible for implementing HR practices that foster employee engagement, development, and compliance with labor laws. You'll manage various HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations, ensuring that the HR team delivers an excellent employee experience and supports the strategic plans of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a thorough understanding of HR practices and employment legislation. Your ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain a high level of professionalism will be critical in this role.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process to ensure an efficient workplace.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning to management.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations, providing support and resolving issues when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies across all HR practices.
  • Maintain employee records according to regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Evaluate and manage the performance appraisal system to improve effectiveness.
  • Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews for assessment.
  • Provide advice and support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate open communication and promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Identify training needs and create development programs to enhance employees' skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar HR role for two years.
  • Excellent knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on employee relations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Familiarity with HR software and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
