Job Description

The HR Manager II position is a critical role within any organization, tasked with overseeing and enhancing the HR practices and procedures to ensure employee satisfaction, legal compliance, and the efficient operation of human resources functions. This role involves strategic planning and management of HR programs and initiatives, fostering organizational development, and supporting management and employee activities. The HR Manager II works closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals while also managing a team of HR professionals. This individual must possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to successfully navigate the complexities of workforce management and contribute positively to a company's culture and overall performance.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the attraction of top talent.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system to drive high performance.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands and grievances.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development of human capital.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements accurately.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to boost employee skill sets.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Ensure legal compliance through HR management to minimize company risks.
  • Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance when necessary.
  • Conduct administrative tasks to support HR daily operations efficiently.
  • Develop compensation and benefits plans to motivate and retain employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven working experience as an HR manager or similar senior HR role.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases, including HRIS software.
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics and strategizing.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills needed.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices internationally.
  • Professional HR certification, such as SHRM or CIPD, is highly desirable.
