Job Description

As an HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the human resources department and ensuring the execution of HR strategies that align with our organizational goals. This position requires a detail-oriented, empathetic, and strategic thinker who can build relationships and create an engaging workplace culture. You will be responsible for leading a team of HR professionals, advising senior leadership on HR initiatives, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The HR Manager should be well-versed in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and employee benefits. As part of a dynamic organization, your ability to handle sensitive matters tactfully and maintain confidential information will be crucial.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the human resources department, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and candidate selection procedures.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and initiatives to enhance workplace culture and employee engagement.
  • Advise senior management on HR-related matters and provide strategic counsel on workforce planning.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including maintaining necessary documentation and records.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs to facilitate integration into the company.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and addressing grievances effectively and professionally.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback, and development plans.
  • Develop and manage employee benefits programs, ensuring they meet employee needs and budget constraints.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement in human resources practices.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career advancement opportunities.
  • Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives to foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in human resources, with 2+ years in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and regulations at a local and federal level.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR teams in a dynamic business environment.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS and other HR management software applications effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex employee issues responsibly.
