Job Description

The HR Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the human resources department. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can juggle multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and discretion. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the HR team in various capacities, from handling administrative tasks to participating in strategic initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements and coordinating interviews.
  • Manage employee records to ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, handling emails and scheduling appointments.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding to ensure new hires receive necessary training and resources.
  • Assist with payroll functions to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Facilitate communication between HR management and staff to address policy and procedure inquiries.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on HR metrics and initiatives for management review.
  • Help organize company events and employee engagement activities to boost team morale.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information, safeguarding sensitive and private data.
  • Provide support in resolving HR-related issues, conflict resolution, and grievance handling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a human resources role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality handling sensitive employee information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
