We’re seeking someone to join our team as an HR Business Partner (Associate or Director) to provide generalist HR advisory expertise across the MENA region, reporting into the MENA Head of HR.

In the Human Capital Management division, we provide advice and insight to attract, retain, reward and develop a talented global workforce, giving employees the support and tools, they need to succeed. This is an Associate or Director level position within the MENA HR Business Partner team.

The MENA HR team supports approx. 110 employees, over 6 locations (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Qatar, Tel Aviv and Turkey). The team currently comprises of 2 HR Business Partners. The role incumbent must be able to operate independently, pro-actively and effectively across the full range of HR disciplines and be able to work with managers and colleagues at all levels across MENA. This role offers the right candidate an excellent opportunity to work in partnership with the business as well as become involved in ad-hoc project work as required.

What You’ll Do In The Role

  • Partner with MENA team Heads and global HR counterparts to effectively implement Talent and D&I strategies.
  • In conjunction with the team, manage and advise the business on the annual promotion roundtables, performance evaluation process and year-end compensation process.
  • Engage HR Data Analytics to provide appropriate and timely management data.
  • Proactively collaborate with the business, the Internal Recruitment team and Compensation team on recruitment activities.
  • Assist the team with a wide variety of deliverables such as Insurance renewals, visa and work permit processing and advisory (in partnership with our vendors), new hire offer letters and benefits administration, termination processing and severance calculations
  • Support with monthly payroll inputs and GCC pension management
  • Support with internal and external audit requests
  • Assist the team with local policy and process reviews, making required updates to documents following global policy or local legislative changes
  • Provide a local point of contact for ad hoc queries from the MENA employee group and internal/external stakeholders

What You’ll Bring In The Role

  • At least 3-5 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
  • Degree educated or equivalent.
  • CIPD qualification preferred.
  • A proven background within HR either within financial services or professional services; previous experience supporting Front Office/Revenue clients preferred.
  • Broad understanding of the Regulatory Remuneration environment required.
  • An ability to manage and develop relationships within matrix management structures.
  • A strong team player with the ability to operate independently, pro-actively and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with good attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage expectations, influence and persuade clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to multi-task, to perform effectively and efficiently under pressure and to adapt to change.
  • Rational and logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong appreciation of employment related risks, with ability to identify and escalate.
