JOB TITLE: HRBP DUBAI MALL
REPORTS TO: HR DIRECTOR MIDDLE EAST

SCOPE OF THE JOB: As an HRBP specializing in Employee Relations, you will play a pivotal role in
maintaining a positive work environment, fostering healthy employee relations, and ensuring compliance
with company policies and legal regulations. Your expertise will be crucial in handling investigations,
disciplinaries, grievances, and other employee-related matters.
Responsibilities
Employee Relations:
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, addressing concerns promptly,
fairly, and in line with regional labour laws while balancing employee experience and business
needs.
- Lead objective investigations into policy breaches, workplace incidents, and employee
complaints, ensuring consistency, confidentiality, and procedural fairness.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with local labour legislation and internal policies, proactively
identifying and addressing potential risk areas.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts between individuals, teams, or departments, supporting early
intervention and constructive resolution wherever possible.
- Promote open dialogue and trust across the organization, helping to foster a respectful and
psychologically safe work environment.
- Manage employee grievances end-to-end, ensuring outcomes are fair, consistent, and
well-documented.
- Partner closely with leadership on sensitive matters such as disciplinary action and terminations,
providing guidance on process, risk, and communication.
- Conduct regional listening sessions to understand employee sentiment, identify underlying issues,
and propose targeted initiatives to improve wellbeing, engagement, and morale.
Business Partnership:
- Work closely with Dubai Mall Leadership team to understand day-to-day people challenges and
provide practical HR support aligned with business needs.
- Support HRBP Middle East with workforce planning, reward processes by providing and preparing
data, documentation, and people impact summaries.
- Assist l Dubai Mall Leadership team during periods of organisational change by supporting
communication plans and addressing employee questions.
- Track and report on key HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, engagement, and employee
relations cases, highlighting trends and concerns to senior HR stakeholders and with the HRBP
Middle East.
Talent Management & Performance Management:
- Support the delivery of performance management processes, including goal-setting cycles,
performance reviews, and calibration activities.
- Provide guidance to managers on basic performance conversations, feedback, and
development planning.
- Assist HRBP Middle East with talent review activities by coordinating inputs, preparing materials,
and tracking follow-up actions.
- Support leadership development initiatives through coordination of coaching, feedback, and
training activities in coordination with HRBP Middle East.
- Help identify capability gaps and work with the Learning team to support training and
development initiatives.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure HR practices and decisions comply with labour laws, internal policies, and governance
standards across the region.
- Partner closely with HRBP Middle East, HR Admin, Compensation, Learning and Talent Acquisition,
to deliver integrated HR solutions.
Policy Development & Continuous Improvement:
- Assist HRBP Middle East in reviewing and updating HR policies, ensuring documentation is clear
and aligned with current practices.
- Support the communication of changes to employees and managers in Dubai Mall.
- Stay informed on basic labour law updates and HR best practices, sharing relevant information
with the wider HR team.
Employee Engagement:
- Act as a HR contact for Dubai Mall employees on any people topics. And build and maintain
relationships with employees, understand local challenges.
- Identify, document, and report HR-related issues to the HR Director and HRBP Middle East, acting
as a liaison between employees, managers, and the wider HR team.
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to store managers on people matters, with a strong
focus on culture, wellbeing, and engagement.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
- Employee relations issues are addressed in a timely and compliant manner.
- Policies are kept up to date and relevant and new policies introduced in partnership with the Head of Human Resources
- Time in store and across the region is maximized to ensure a strong connection with store teams
and store leaders.

Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human resources, or related field is beneficial.
- Proven experience as HRBP handling employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of local employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
